Sinovuyo Mcunukelwa is the founder and executive director of intshisakalo yolutsha. She has a BA in Psychology, a PGCE and an Honours degree in Education Psychology all from the Nelson Mandela University. She is passionate about community work and social justice. 


Saliwe Veronica Gwebityala is a retired government employee and business woman.  She is an advisory board member of Intshisakalo Yolutsha. She has founded many community projects at Zithulele, the Ginyintsimbi Poultry co-operative, a chicken and egg business for women and  Bomvana trading cooperative, for local business people to do business together and support each other.  She has also spent most of her life teaching the youth as a Sunday school teacher at her church. 

Sivuyisiwe Tywabi is the chairperson of the board of Intshisakalo Yolutsha.  

She has worked in the news production space for over 10 years first as a reporter and producer, news writer for a digital news platform, a senior news researcher and a spokesperson for a women’s right organization. In addition, she has led the coordination, commissioning and production of the Eastern Cape Municipalities Publications(e.g. reports and other generic materials, newsletters, project-specific reports as well as their annual reports)
